Boy, are the A's going all in or what?

The Oakland Athletics have acquired slugger Adam Dunn in a trade with the Chicago White Sox.

The Athletics announced the trade Sunday on their official Twitter account, saying that the White Sox received minor league pitcher Nolan Sanburn in exchange for Dunn and unspecified cash considerations.

Adam Dunn was traded by the White Sox to the Athletics, who hope the veteran slugger will provide a boost to their struggling lineup.
Oakland will pay approximately half of the remaining $2.5 million owed to Dunn this season, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney.

He was their #11 prospect as ranked by Baseball America last winter. Oakland has now traded their top 3 prospects from that list as well as the #11 prospect. I hope they keep doing that next year.

Well their offense has been hurting since Cespedes was traded. And Oakland seems to keep rolling pitchers out like crazy. Keep waiting for it to bite them but so far it hasn't. But it may soon.
