3 hits off Feldman, go figure
Andrus, Rios, Martin? ....Yes, several rookies, but we're talking Scott Feldman....we may suck, but we're a better team than this...we never had a man on 2nd base all night...against Scott Feldman!!Well, it's basically an all rookie team out there plus Beltre.

Exactly.Oh well...Texas cannot afford to win these games.
I'll take that bet there young man.
What we have been reduced to.![]()
I believe we've been officially eliminated from post season play. I pray this doesn't happen again for a long, long time. JD plays his cards right it shouldn't.What we have been reduced to.![]()
That may have been from the division not the wild card.I believe we've been officially eliminated from post season play. I pray this doesn't happen again for a long, long time. JD plays his cards right it shouldn't.
Good article that towards the last half goes through all the benefits of finishing down at the bottom.
Consolation prizes await Rangers if they hang on to 'lead' for last place | Dallas Morning News
The A's were shutout by 8 relievers...They Angels used a reliever to start and he went 3 innings...the final 6 innings was split between 7 more relievers. They allowed 3 hits and 2 walks all night...
Now this is the kind of attitude we need:
Baker is prepared to return to the thankless role of long reliever.
“It drives me crazy when guys get a sense of entitlement,’’ Baker said. “I’m fortunate to be putting on a major league uniform. I’ll do whatever they ask me to do.’’
But I hope, this is not what we're going to get from Jackson:
The first Triple-A experience for highly regarded right-hander Luke Jackson ended on a sour note. He allowed three homers and seven runs in four innings against Nashville of the Milwaukee organization Friday. Jackson will finish at 1-3 with a 10.35 ERA for 40 innings with Round Rock.
Spoken like a guy who knows he's lucky to be in the majors at this point of his career. I get it that some guys are competitors, but I like a guy who will just shut up and do what the club thinks is best. Even the great MY had problems doing that for some reason.
