Speaking of which, the change in the hitting coach certainly seems to have helped. Guys like Elvis, and Rua really seem to have responded well to him.

No idea if this is part of it, but Banny selecting his guys, Brocail and Iaopoce, seems to have worked out immensely. No disrespect to Maddux, but Brocail has been a phenomenal hire.

I have been extremely impressed with what Brocail has done with the starting pitchers. I mean, guys like Colby, and Hamels are what they are regardless most likely, but he does a great job with guys like Griffin and Perez it seems.
