Evan Carter has been really good since coming up. Definitely been a spark and he's walked a ton.

Read where Wyatt is 4 for 5 tonight
It’s like a rehab assignment

He's insanely good. I legitimately wish they'd bring him up tomorrow. Cut one of the other scrubs and put Langford in the lineup. Him and Carter are going to be franchise-changing type players.

Three singles and a double so far from Langford.

Lowe twice came up with runners on 1st and 2nd and hit into a DP and popped out.

I think it will be Chapmen and Leclerc to close out if they are rested. Will Smith gets Gatorade duty.

Dang, that dude is a stud. Would you call him up?
I can see both sides on that.

One thing, he would basically replace Taveras and Leody is hitting. 353 this month. I expect him to have a great year next year, but I am not sure of he can give us more than Leody will over the next few games.

Whether they bring him up this week or if he makes the roster coming out of Spring Training next Spring, I will be fine with it.

I know we talk about Hader in the pen as a FA but another Padre that is a starting pitcher and I haven't always been crazy about him is Blake Snell and he has had a pretty good year.

Langford had a great game last night. To get 4 hits in your first AAA game is a great accomplishment. To do so the same year you are drafted is incredible.

Adjusting to both AA and AAA usually takes some time. He has done both, very easily and very quickly.

The most amazing thing about what he did last night, was that he did that well, the game after he had had his worst game as a pro. Sunday, in AA, he struck out 3 times. That is the most he has struck out in a game since being drafted. For a lot of hitters that probably means the beginning of a slump, and a lengthy time to determine the problem and make adjustments. Not Wyatt Langford though. He corrected it the very next game, at a higher level.
