we get it, Al, you hate MY with a passion and can see nothing good about him but to continue to whine about him in almost every thread is getting old. Wash and JD and Nolan obviously don't agree with your assessment and as they are the ones making the decisions, to continue harping on it is a total waste of your energy

Hell, it doesn't take much energy to get this point across unless you're blind and it's not really a whine. More of a full blown loud ass boisterous complaint.
I've seen enough. It's bad enough that the entire team is playing below standards defensively. Putting MY in the field is just pouring gasoline on the fire.

Wash is the one putting him in the field so It's pretty obvious for now that Wash thinks he can field, however, you are in no position to speak on behalf of Nolan and JD.

never said that but for more than a year he has opined about MY incessantly and by now we're aware of his opinion on the subject and if i'm a 10th as guilty of doing that than him then i apologize.

Anything I have said about Young in the last year has been strictly in terms of his baseball skills, which I think are overrated, yet you are the one that wants to make it personal. If it bothers you that I write about Young's lack of ability then put up some stats and keep the discussion about baseball. I could care less about his clubhouse presence or what his rep is around the league, which is the only thing you can hang your hat on.
Young has 3 HR's and 30 RBI's and a .266 Avg after last nights game, is hitting from the 5 hole and playing terrible defense. By comparison, David Murphy has three times as many HR's and more RBI's playing part time. There is a solid argument for Young not even being an everyday player much less holding down a key position on the team. If you've got something else besides a history lesson then fire away.

No, I have not heard the FO say anything negative about Young, but I also haven't heard any public ringing endorsements, so by proxy I can assume that behind closed doors they think his baseball skills are on the decline.

no it doesn't bother me to talk about any player's skills, what bothers me is how you carry on with it on literally every thread even when the gist of the thread is on other topics. we can be discussing pitching and you'll insert your opinion on MY like it has some merit in the conversation.

When have you ever heard any member of the FO IN PUBLIC say anything negative about anyone in theirs or in fact any other team's system?

The FO gives ringing endorsements for everyone on their roster all the time. That's what they do. If a member of the press asked them about Julio Borbon's progress at AAA ... they will have great things to day about him. All FOs do that ... you don't downplay a player's contribution or you devalue them in the eyes of other teams.
