This is great because my D2 team is middle of the pack and that sucks, rather be terrible ( so as to be able to rebuild) or great. An extra first is going to help a bunch. I do feel a little guilty because I think I'm taking advantage here, but hey we do what we must. @obxyankeefan can you put a note for this some where?

Pierce gets the most out of any run play of any rookie in the draft. Side steps, stiff arms, spins, falling forward no body operates like Pierce in a phone booth. He's capped by lack of top end speed. He can be run down on a long play. Other then top end speed he's phenomenal, yards after contact,( best of class) catching ability ( best of class), route running ( best of class) blocking ( way way best of class). He's every thing RoJo isn't. He's a complete RB only held back by top end speed, he's going to thrive in the NFL. Texans haven't been good and of course the Chiefs been great, so RoJo has that going for him, but I have zero doubts I win this wager. Course I been knocking back a few, so there is that...

Thinking Think GIF by Rodney Dangerfield

12tm league....RB30 = a weekly RB2....that math does not check out, unless you meant to say 'at best' vs 'at worst'

last year's half ppr RB30 overall was also a rookie, and he gave you 5 weeks scoring over 10pts and 4 weeks scoring less than 4pts (Carter)
2020's RB30 (Edmonds) was better, as he did have 7 games in double digits, but also had 6 games under 6pts

really put yourself behind the 8-ball if you're starting the RB30 in your RB2 spot every week
F me...for some reason the math in my head was 36..not 24...lol

All those fools working for NFL teams missed out on a gem

At least we can rely on Houston to be the common sense franchise with a front office that has a great eye for RB talent. They'd never trade away a top WR for a washed up RB or anything crazy like that!

I totally depend on my take on Pierce abilities vs RoJo. Now we have to see how that plays out.

Right there with ya Harold.. trust what you see, and go forward with conviction. It's what I do, win more than you lose I can tell ya that much.

That being said..I saw none of that with Pierce :) :suds:

He gets more then what you think is possible on any play. If he had that extra gear that some do, he'd be elite, unfortunately he doesn't

Well even if you don't see what I see with Pierce, how do you see RoJo doing vs Pierce?

It's a tough call. Could see RoJo supplanting CEH easily..could see him being nothing but a guy who plays every 4th series, or anything in between. But it's a potent offense, so points could be available to anyone

And Pierce, pretty much the same. For the moment, I don't feel as though he's a lock to beat out Rex or Mack for meaningful touches, but he certainly could, neither of the other 2 are anything close to studs, so it's not at all out of the question. And, unlike KC, that offense is likely to be pretty bad.

So to summarize...F if I know. :)

If I had to lay a fiver down today, my money would be on RoJo, but I wouldn't be confident about it at all.

Which I'll win handily as the first time White let's Brady get blindsided, he'll never be heard from again...

:suds:

If the guy you throw the ball to is also the one that allows you to get blindsided that's QBs fault not receiver's!

Ha, well, the pass catching backs job does not end at running routes and certainly includes pass pro..so we shall see.

Plus he still needs to run Gio out of town first

Pierce will out produce both combined. Be that Gio and White or White and White.
