Looks like the new Ferrari livery changes made a difference and Verstappen finally appears vulnerable as LeClerc and Sainz took 1-3 in the end. Verstappen finished 6th and Hamilton, his usual 7th spot. Maybe Hamilton is moving to Ferrari at the right time next season.

Touching on 2 things about F1

Monaco has the most history of any track in the world not named Indy. You can not take it off the schedule, but today's race was a parade for 77 laps. F1 or FIA has to do something, you can't have a full race without 1 overtake in the top 10.



The Andretti's are hated outside the US for some reason, and from I have read it seems to be personal. F1 has enough space for 13 teams without sending some one home. Limiting the number of teams limits the competition. What are they going to do when HAAS leaves in the next year or two?

Apparently the quiet sanctioning of Andretti's attempt to join F-1 has really gotten really ugly. I don't know if it will ever be resolved. In the mean time, Perez got himself into a real meatgrinder of a wreck with Magnusson apparently.

Well with announcement of the dissolving of the Stewart-Haas NASCAR Race Teams at the end of 2024 including the selling of the Charters for those teams, Haas may be moving to F-1 at a greater level or getting out of racing altogether for health reasons. So Magnussen may be looking for work at the end of 2024 depending on what his boss does!

Sainz will be leaving Ferrari at the end of the season to vacate his current cockpit for Lewis Hamilton, and his name has been linked with multiple teams as he continues to perform well, having won the Australian Grand Prix earlier this season.
And with Sergio Perez having now signed for Red Bull for two more years, that is one potential option having closed off to Sainz in his quest for the most competitive seat possible, with PlanetF1.com understanding he is not currently in contention for Hamilton’s vacant seat at Mercedes as it stands, for the time being.
But if Sainz was to join Albon at Williams from next year, Croft had high praise for the quality of the pairing that would produce – as well as explaining the current situation in which the 29-year-old finds himself.
“Arguably the strongest driver line-up that Williams have had in my time commentating on Formula 1, quite frankly,” Croft told the Sky Sports F1 podcast when the possibility of a Sainz-Albon duo at Williams was put to him next season, should it come to pass.
“I think it would be fantastic. James [Vowles] is a very, very inspiring person. He has a strategy, as you would expect for a man that ran the strategy at Mercedes for so many years successfully.
