holy smokes, this is why it starts with talent evaluation. no one is always right, but you can't blow these very HIGH picks. or was it some kind of injury thing?

Wayne Hunter is from Hawaii so glad he's getting a chance. clearly he hasn't done well in NY, so its all he can ask.

we prefer the Baalke 'no names' who pans out, versus big draft names that........

Jets have confirmed that they've agreed to Hunter-Smith deal. Players take physicals tomorrow.

More on Jets/Rams trade. St. Louis initiated talks, both clubs think players could use fresh starts. Both players will be in 3rd OT roles.

if Jason Smith plays over 31% of snaps, the big $$ 2013 year is voided. He'll never see those snaps

Wow. When you're looking to Jason Smith to upgrade your RT situation, it's gotten pretty bad. When you think Wayne Hunter has more upside than Smith...I don't even know what to think....

so if he plays 31% of snaps he loses the money for the 2013 or it guarantees the money for 2013?

Also isn't this a parallel move since both of them are :ss: for RTs?

Jason Smith was such an unknown, but everyone fell in love with his upside. If someone was going to miss big on a top pick I'm glad it was the Rams. Unfortunately they will have plenty of 1st and 2nd round draft picks to make up for it very soon.

2009 was such a horrible draft. i thought stafford was a bust. the next 2 picks were even worse. i woulda pulled a vikings if i was in the top 3 that year and couldn't find a sucker to trade down with.

although if i was gm of the lions i'd have egg on my face by now lol
