This could be looked at a number of ways but Ill just say that the most important areas to fix are the secondary positions and the offensive line. They'll be able to pay Robert Quinn. Chris Long is a hustle guy which means he puts a timer on the opposing teams QB. If he has help, he'll rack up sacks. If he doesn't have help, the QB is just going to get the ball out before Long can get to him and he'll just get a lot of 'hurries' and very few sacks. Ogletree helped their issue against TEs and is a playmaker. They need a Safety that can help against #1 WRs and shut down the screen game. A shutdown CB would be ideal but those dont grow on trees and are hard to predict.

The Rams run a lot of Nickel and the Rams run a lot of Cover 4 but they are bringing in Gregg Williams who ran Cover 2 last year in Tennessee but also has a history of running Cover 4. The Rams are keeping their OC. New DC, same OC means an emphasis on new defensive players being drafted, imo. Especially since the coach is a defensive minded coach to begin with and has a history of drafting defense over offense.

If Bradford is given another year, so is Brian Schottenheimer, Quick, Pettis, Cook, Bailey, Austin and the rest. The scheme is there. The personnel is there. They just need to develop.

I'm not sure the Rams have the personnel on their offensive line or secondary.
