The year before he had 0.5 sacks. If Gallete was healthy and playing for $1 million dollars it would be a mute point. Kerrigan is never going to make an excuse but I don't think he ever fully recovered from the knee surgery. He didn't play a down in the pre-season.

if you support the GM then live with the decisions he makes. He could be the best GM here since Bethard.

I would also add something that several folks here have recently pointed out - some of the young LBs have caused some issues by not being disciplined and sticking with their very specific assignments. As they gain more experience and others become healthy we could see totally different results.

So Orakpo has almost as many sacks with the Titans in 10 games, 7 sacks, as he did in his last 3 seasons/48 games with the Redskins, 11.5 sacks. Where he missed 24 of those 48 games due to injury as well as missing 14 games during the 2012 season. The only season the Skins went to the playoffs during Opakpo's Redskins tenure.

I've been awaiting your response Breeder. :D

I just provided a little context is all.

The truth of the matter is that Rak suffered both his 2nd season ending injury and his worst year production-wise at the worst time possible for him. As it relates to him getting a huge contract from the Redskins.

Before the 2014 season began. He was universally looked at as a top 3-5 FA among ALL FAs and the top FA OLB by every FA grading publication I saw. I didn't agree with any of them and I'm glad the Skins didn't use that as a basis and just pay BO. That would've been the beginning of the end leading to the eventual departure of Ryan Kerrigan who I believe is a better all around OLB than Rak.

From a 2015 and stats alone perspective. It looks like Rak is having one of the best years of his career and RK is having the worst of his career. I'm confident RK will rebound though and I look for him to have a huge 2016 season.
