Question to those who have gone to a home 49ers game this year

Its kinda hard to hear on TV but it sounds like the fans are doing the 300 thing(the movie) "aahhh oohoooo!" (which is bad ass by the way)



My question is, when are they doing this? Is it after a first down or is it when the announcer says something or something shown??

I was at the Lions game as well. At first i was like, wtf are they doing that for, but it catches on after a bit.
