Question about the Briere cheapshot??

I didn't see the game, just the highlights. Can somebody please tell me why Briere delivered the cheapshot to Neilson?

Well I wasn't on the ice, but prior to the face off they were clearly exchanging words and the ref kinda broke what ever was happening up.

What about the way suspensions are given out makes anyone think there is "bias" to the system they use?

If anything, suspensions seem indiscriminate and random in the NHL.

This thread is too funny. I agree Briere acted like a broad, but come on he is 5'4" 135! He is not a cheap player by any means and to try to play him up as such is stupid. But yea I see a game or 2 suspension.

I loved Pronger's smile during that. He knew exactly what DiPietro did not want. Ricky looked who grabbed him and just looked disappointed, he knew he wasnt going anywhere.
