Oddly fun to say that phrase...
Anyways, say we assume Cueto will return to his normal self (already been happening a little here, blister gone?). Wouldn't we prefer that to wait until 2018? Isn't it better for him to have an overall meh/C+/B- kind of year, opt in, then come out strong next year? If we are contending next year his being good is a direct help and cause, if we aren't, we can trade him for more than we could get now with a mediocre year and that opt in risk.
