SO i posted a thread about some qb's possibly moving on a while ago. Just my opinion on some of these

Oakland-Do they keep carr? Gruden's been bipolar in his thoughts on Carr

Cincy-Time to move on from the great ginger?

Miami-Looks like Tanny is done

Jax-Bortles has to be done

NYG-Eli will be back, do they get him a successor

Titans-Seem to be riding with mariota, but should they be

Denver-Keenum is not the answer

Redskins-Johnson isnt the answer, and alex smith isnt coming back next year

Tampa-Is apparently keeping jameis

Lastly
Vikings -BAHAHHAHAHAHA

but for what they say in the draft of their not being alot of qb needy teams, or qb needy teams at the top. this seems like a good bit to me

Oakland-Do they keep carr? Gruden's been bipolar in his thoughts on Carr - My guess is Carr is going to be peddled around to the likes of Jacksonville or Miami, but ultimately he starts 2019 for the Raiders

Cincy-Time to move on from the great ginger? - He has played his last game in Cincinnati. I think he's released this offseason since there's no dead cap attached to him.

Miami-Looks like Tanny is done - Like Cincy, new coach/new QB. If Carr gets traded, I think this is a likely landing spot.

Jax-Bortles has to be done - Other spot that Carr could go, but either way their 2019 starting QB is not currently on the roster

NYG-Eli will be back, do they get him a successor - Dwayne Haskins is selected at #6 overall and sits one year behind Eli in his farewell (good riddance) season before taking over in 2020 - or possibly midway through 2019

Titans-Seem to be riding with mariota, but should they be - Was never a fan of his as a pro QB. Too injury prone, not polished enough as a passer. They picked up his 5th year option at a cool $20.9 mil, but I think it's his last year in Nashville

Denver-Keenum is not the answer - Correct. I could see Andy Dalton wind up here. Good fit for their offense.

Redskins-Johnson isnt the answer, and alex smith isnt coming back next year - This is ugly. Could be a spot for Joe Flacco, but my guess is they're picking #1 in 2020. Not a lot to like about this current team.

Tampa-Is apparently keeping jameis - Beyond idiotic, but it's an idiotic franchise

Lastly
Vikings -BAHAHHAHAHAHA - ? Cousins was top 10 in passing yards, rating, and TD passes and finished 2nd in completion percentage with fewer INTs than Goff, Brady, Rivers, Luck, and many others. I don't get why he gets so much shit, he wasn't the problem with Minnesota this year.

Gonna be a lot of mediocrity switching hands because not everyone is going to be able to get Haskins; and guys like Lock are gonna be mega-reaches.

Haskins isn’t even quite pro ready. Just the best available. Lock is not good. Beats up big time

Looking at those teams, it looks like a lot of current back-up QB's are going to make out pretty good. Don't really know who's available but guys like Fitzpatrick will be getting overpaid for their services. Flacco will land somewhere and won't have to take a huge pay cut. When Philly's run ends (I'm thinking this weekend in the windy city), Foles is gonna get a big time pay day. Does Elway take a chance on a veteran SB winner in Foles or Flacco? Maybe.
The Jags cap situation is terrible. They need to pray that a draft pick hits that nobody else sees. Dolphins and Skins cap situation not good either. A bunch of question marks and no real sure fire answers.

I wonder what it would take to get Carr or Stafford? Would a second do it?

Stanford is locked up and still only 30 I believe, but Carr would take more than a second I believe, he’s young, a lot more

Yeah I could see that but NFL trades can be strange sometimes. Cap is always a factor too. It will be interesting. Hard to say what the Fins will do but Ross was preaching patience and doing it the right way for continuous success. They could let Tanny go and tank next year although I don't think that they are that far off especially with better coaching. Depth is still an issue though...

yeah very true, and lord knows with gruden.

Phins have some pieces, but i think they are far off from contender status. not only depth but sheer talent overall. Your offensive talent alone leave ALOT to be desired. no qb, rb, wr's, gesicki sure doesnt look great........your line is mediocre......

The D im not up on as much, i think your d is fair if im correct

You have to remember even with horrific coaching and key injuries they still ended up 7-9. Not as far off as you'd think but they definitely have some holes. If they hit in the draft they could fill most but Ross has already said that they won't reach in FA so next year they may take a step back to retool.

Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant were impressive before they went on IR and Drake and Ballage are a good 1 2 punch. Oline needs a OG and it will be better. Gesicki was a rookie there's promise there. QB we'll see what they do but is obviously key. On D they need DE especially if Harris doesn't step up. Wake may not return. Could use another DT and CB but most teams have a few holes. I'd draft a DE first round if it were me...

7-9 to contender is a long haul, plus u have the jets and bills in your division....thats 3 of your 7 wins.....
lets be serious albert wilson and jakeem grant should not be near the top of your wr list, nor should drake(coaching staff doesnt even like him) and ballage wasnt even a lead back in college. I think your being very very very optimistic and if this was not your team, you would think much differently

I said that they could take a step back before they improve but there is talent there. When you add those explosive guys to their offence they were successful. Things fell apart when they went down. Lots of speed when added to Stills. Drake's a good back that can catch and Ballage can pound it plus break away. I like the group and in my opinion you don't need a super star back there sure it's nice but not mandatory. Of course I'm optimistic but I've never said contender as they are still building...

I can't get the link to paste on my phone but I think you underestimate what some of these guys did this year. Wilson had two TD's of over 50 yards Grant had 3 with two being on ST's. Drake and Ballage also had one. Overall Fins led the league and that was with Wilson and Grant missing a lot of games. This is why I'm optimistic that this team could bounce back with better coaching and less injuries to key players. Not saying super bowl but improvement is definitely possible...

I trust my eyes and his stats... you are posting an article before the season??? You said those guys were overrated after I claimed they were explosive and the Fins missed them. I showed you in limited games facts that prove my case...
Explosiveness doesn’t mean consistent. Again. Just my opinion. Ballage never started in college, is he the next priest Holmes, maybe, but unlikely.

Albert wilson was pretty pedestrian as usual except one large game. And a long ball with Oakland.

Splash plays are splash plays. They aren’t consistent

Ballage didn't get to even play until the last few games and did well. The point was that every team needs big plays and the Fins lost half of their ammo this year. There's no denying the numbers. This affected the overall production. Gase also didn't help because when guys like ballage were rolling he'd stop feeding them and pass 10 straight times...

That may be the case in the end. But where are your consistent players. Your consistent contributors. Even if wilson he 1000 and 6tds your receiveing core is abysmal, without a qb. A twilight vet in gore, drake
Who no one trusts, and ballage who they didn’t think enoug of to give the rock at all till the last few games. And only one game did he really get fed

As I told you they spread the ball around between Stills, Grant, Wilson and Amandola it was working until the injuries or took two out. Parker was supposed to be a part of it but he's a bust no heart. Gore was great but Drake and Ballage were fantastic down the stretch when Gase actually used them. Gase was the biggest problem... I'm not sure why you have a hard on for Drake he simply wasn't fed enough that's on idiot Gase...

Gase would say ballage was unstoppable in practice but wouldn't play him until Gore went down total idiocy...
