If Dalton stinks it up this year, and Cutler actually hits the FA market next year, would we have the cap space and money to be able to land him? You have to think we would only be a QB away from competing for a SB at that point. I mean Cutler has attitude baggage, but it would prevent a draft pick at QB, force us to play that pick, and hope he is not a bust.

Although, Dalton busting doesn't mean we are picking top 10 either, we could still be picking in the mid 20's as a playoff team, but if he is inconsistant during the year, throws too many picks again, doesn't improve in the long passing game and is one and done in teh playoffs again....it would be time to start looking at a replacement. Mid 20's could mean the decent QB prospects are off the board by then.

SHOULD Cutler be someone we target if this scenerio plays out? Keeping in mind, AJ Green is probably going to want $15 million a year / long term to stay out of FA.

I'd take you over Dalton at this point.

I'd take you over Dalton at this point.

Now you're just being silly. I would break on one NFL sack. So you would be back with Dalton anyways. Not to mention I am 5'11 1/2" tall and probably couldn't even see over half our offensive lineman.

Dalton is a "serviceable" NFL QB, question is though, can he take it to the next level in 2013, or does he just remain "serviceable" again?

We won't win 8 games.

It's hilarious that you guys are able to throw out how many games we're going to win before we even have a clue about the final shape of our team, and our opponents' teams.

The schedule is tougher. Other teams are ran by much more competent people. We'll regress. I'm certain of it.

You were certain of it last year too.

However we didn't regress and only win 4-6 games like you said

And? 23 years and counting. Wake me when we win a playoff game. For now you can just call me Rip Van Winkle.

But you were wrong. Had you said we would make the playoffs and lose again. Good Job. However we didn't only win 4-6 like you thought.

We will not make the playoffs in 2013. I'm 100% certain of it. No reason to even watch.

Baltimore and Pittsburgh will both be worse in my opinion. Both had to release quality players from their roster just to get under cap, which lends little to FA. They have a draft, but they have to hit a home run from picks 1-4 to make up for the players they lost IMO.

You take the Bengals lol and I'll take the Ravens and Steelers.

You cannot possibly be serious.
