Pros and Cons of Idaho week

Pros:

Virginia Tech got beat

Kevin Cosgrove's defense for Minnesota allowed 41 points to South Dakota
Defensive line was much more physical this week

Defense still had lining up issues

Overall:

I only saw the first half due to 2 soccer games for daughter, but what I saw in the first half was more confusion on defensive alignments, coverage sacks, 2 great pick 6's, and 2 big time runs by Martinez and Helu. What the fuck happened in the 2nd half? We may have only lost 3 of them but 8 god damn fumbles??????????? Can't do that against Washington!!!!!!

I absolutely hate Virginia Tech and the most over rated coach in football, Frank Beamer. Seeing them get beat by James Madison makes me feel nice and warm inside.

I know I forgetting something but can't think of it right now.

Cons:

Direct TV is a fucking bitch. I have it at home but was at the bar and missed the first 8 minutes or so.


Con for Cody Green:

His designated series to come in for the first half was really short. First play, hand off to Helu for 58 yards and a TD.


Pro:

I had "I heart radio" on my phone so I was the only one able to listen to the game on the radio while Direct TV was pulling their head out of their asses.

Our Defense looked a lot better, but I don't feel much better about our win today than I did last year when we won

Yeah it is still a win. Thats good and all, I would rather we expose some things that need to be worked out early on, than to blow a weak opponent out, only to get worked by a Wash. or whoever later down the schedule.
However, that being said the key is improving, not getting progressively worse like maybe last years O

If they play with discipline Nebraska can be a very good football team. I'm not too worried except for those 8 fumbles. I still think we breeze past Washington and will know alot more against K State.
