All in all it was a solid game minus the short throw INT.
And good to see him finally get off the Snyde

I'll oblige Sty. First let me say props to Bob. The most important stat in any game is a win and we have had damn few of those.
Many fans on here are like the win, opinions change with one game. No player changes completely in one game.
Lets take a closer look at the game. Bob threw for 220 yards and a pick, QB rating of 81 against a very bad defensive backfield. Cousins threw for 427 yards, 3 TDs and a pick, QB rating of 103 in a loss.
Iggles had 3 personal fouls inside the red zone and missed 2 field goals also. The Iggles outgained the Redskins by 190 yards. I get it, those stats don't win games and it sure is good to win a game that we probably weren't the best team in.
My synopsis, good for Robert. It is a building block and hopefully will give him some confidence going forward but lets not crown him king yet. We did that once and we know where it got us. Of course he should be back next year and he should COMPETE with the other QBs for a starting position. Griffin has been handed the starting position up until a couple of weeks ago. He was named starter in 2012 either at the start of OTAs or training camp. He needs to win that position on the field. If he does that I'll support him as I would any Redskin QB.
Bob just wins.
As the originator of this thread let me just say...
Im not crowning him king. He had a solid game. And I have been tar'd and feathered for the perception that i never give him credit when he does do well. So I give him credit for a solid game. And its good to see him get a win since the last time that happened was a long tome ago.
Spoiler alert.. .Dallas will be on cruise control next week and more concerned with coming out of the game healthy than actually getting the win. this bodes well for Bob. So we should not read too much into it should we win next week... which I will say we win by a field goal.
Sanchez was sacked one more time than Griffin. To be fair he passed the ball 27 more times.
I still believe he has to get rid of the ball earlier. A lot of his sacks are on him. Again to be fair Tom Brady is a great QB until he gets pressure. Added protection will surely help but it would help any QB. Quicker decisions will help Silent Bob. We have seen receivers running wide open while he holds the ball. Point taken though, all elements have to get better.
I doubt both of the sacks on Sunday were on the QB.
