has a small fracture in his hand that was revealed in a CT scan today...will be out 3-4 weeks..ouch. would have been nice had they discovered it earlier..
well maybe it'll be a blessing in disguise and everyone else will step it up now in his absence

Not great news, but it could've been worse. Hopefully he will be be well-rested and healthy for the playoffs. The Flyers need to hold it down while he is out. I'm glad Homer made the move for Boyton. It's time for him to show us what he's got.

but the flyers would definitely benefit from having him (assuming he's in playoff form) in the playoffs, as much as that pains me to say.

Yeah, but that didn't have very much to do with Pronger. The team was rolling back then where as the team, as a whole, has been playing like shit recently.

agreed with the comment about o'donnell needing rest. hes just been out of gas the past 10 games or so. his minutes need to be reduced so that he is fresh for the playoffs...because if hes worn out now..at 39 i dont know how he'll survive until may and june..

Yep that's my worry too but hard to get him out of the lineup now although with Boynton playing well he could play a few games in the playoffs to give guys like O'Donnell a breather. Nice pick up Homer!

Well....according to my local paper...it seems his surgery was a success and would be back in 3-4 weeks.

Hell fucking yeah!
