just for fun... who do you think makes the pro bowl from the niners at this point in the season. yes, not even half way there yet, but here are my guesses for the season thus far...

j smith
aldon
willis
bowman
rogers

lee
ginn

I had a hard time leaving sopoaga, goodwin, whitner, and costanzo off the list but that would give us 13 guys and i already think 10 is a push. other guys i'm not so sure about (in terms of what voters will think, not me) were vd, bowman, aldon, and lee but i think they are deserving.

fortunately, we will never see any of these guys play in the actual pro bowl game

All of these guys would have a good chance. What if Bowman made it over Willis though...that would be nuts.

Yeah I agree. Graham is a lock. It's between Jermike and VD. VD needs to step his game up.

Aldon is going to need more than 12 sacks. Jared Allen, Jason Babin, JPP, Charles Johnson, Ume, and Long are ripping up QBs right now. He might have a shot if he goes in at LB but I don't see that happening.

Willis needs to pick up the pace too. He's 24th in tackles right now. Bowman is 2nd.

I have never really thought about this one right here or noticed it during the games, but during the 49ers games are the offenses sending a extra blocker towards Willis which is freeing up Bowman to make a lot of tackles on the inside when they run the ball? Juts wondering

Yeah, he looked really good rushing the passer with that nasty spin move as well. It's nice that all 4 of our linebackers can blitz effectively for once.
