I'm in San Jose, so Dodger "fans" are not in abundance. This asshat I work with is from Chicago and doesn't root for any team. He doesn't even have the decency to passively root for the Cubs. Or at least the White Sox. All he likes to do is talk shit. He used to be my boss so I had to temper my responses... but not anymore

I'll pretend you didn't say that. Native Fresnans aren't likely to connect with So Cal. They tend to associate more with Northern California but when there was talk of splitting the state in two, some in Fresno wanted a third state called Central California.

I was in Fresno. Company moved me down to Camarillo area. So I got that going for me.....which is nice (except for the rent).

Funny thing, they STILL talk huge amounts of smack. Apparently they don't pay attention to what happens after their "mighty" Dodgers are eliminated......

And if we get swept, the silver lining for me is to no longer worry about it, because we will be through and September won't matter...I really really hope that's not what happens, but that will be the good I take from it.

Pence may not be back at all by the way, so think on that. Injuries matter.
