I don't think the U.S. has ever lost a President's Cup, have they?

Had to look that one up T...7-1-1 is the U.S. record in this cup.
Thanks. The U.S. has an interesting team this year; I'm not sure what to think. So many of the other side are either injured or off their game that the U.S. could have a blow out. I'm looking forward to seeing how Speith does in this type of competition.
As you know by now, I'm into golf...I will definitely watch it, but I'm not that fired up about the PC.
I'll watch it as well but it does not even remotely compare to the Ryder Cup in my book.
More intense for certain, but I'm that odd ball golf fan that really doesn't care much for matchplay for the pros. As sports entertainment I like it, but as a golf event...these guys are so good tee to green that matches typically boil down to putting contests most of the time.
I love the Ryder Cup. The intensity is so high.
The pressure is so enormous because the fans are either for you or against you, and you're playing for a team...that part I like, the drama, etc. but most of the time on putts you don't have to worry about a comebacker so you see a lot of putts made that guys would be more cautious with in a normal tournament.
No doubt I'll be watching them both.
Lot of pressure on those guys playing in the final Web.com tournament this weekend. They are playing for their jobs.
I like this format...Q-school card is said to be so so brutal, but a lot of the older guys with TOUR experience got automatic staging...they knew the ropes and would somehow make it through only to be right back outside the top 125 the following year because they didn't have the games to stick anymore.
These Web.com guys may not all stick, but they're young and hungry...seeming better prepared once they get on TOUR from playing a whole tour season and earning a card that way.
I would think that there is even more pressure in Qualifying School than in a PGA tournament because of what happens if you fail.
Now doubt Q-School was more pressure packed, but I'm not sure it determines the guys most ready to play on tour because the same Frank Lictlighter types would be back @ Q-School next year. I think because they already got to advanced stages of Q-S they didn't have to endure the complete grind.
Man...just looked at the teams last night...if this were played on paper the international team has no shot.
I love the Ryder Cup. The intensity is so high.
Hey guys. Hope all is well.
Yep - I also love the Ryder Cup just hated how most of the US golfers choked during the last one. The Presidents Cup is kind of fun to watch in a gimmicky way. The fun part will be watching some first time pairings on all of this. Duffner-Woods would be a good one & it will be very interesting to see whoever they team with Spieth - perhaps Stricker.

Wonder why Furyk isn't on the squad. He's pretty solid in these type of events.
Stricker having to carry Speith through 9 today. Probably too much too soon for the young man.
