I actually think Bud has his best year as a pro with him being motivated for a contract. Maybe 8-10 sacks as a hopeful, then let some other sucker pay big money for him.

I think he's safe if for nothing else that sense of security that he's had NFL success before. He looks slimmer and more agile, too.

Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if Dobbs plays almost all of game 4 to showcase him.

They showed why they can succeed as a horizontal team and less vertical without Brown, and honestly that might be better if it keeps the defense off the field more.

Really up to Ben...we've seen him so many times on 3rd & 3 or 4 yds throwing a 25-30 yd pass.

What I'm hearing is the DEF is better this year...we get a solid test right out of the gate week 1, so I'm already ready!

I'd be happy with that so long as the Steelers aren't that sucker...

We know it'll be awful hard for Colbert to let a 10 sack leave, but he probably should.

Got to watch the game briefly as I was doing an offline fantasy draft at the time.... But I saw everything that I needed to see from everyone.

Offense... 1st team accomplished their goal, even with a few mistimed plays. Shaking the rust off, but it all came together. Ben to JuJu was too easy. Hope that is the case all year. Rudolph has cemented the backup position. Dobbs should be traded if they feel comfortable with Hodges. PG4 should be just Dobbs & Hodges playing. But I fear Dobbs has started to hurt his value. Not a consistent enough passer in the short to intermediate game, but can create plays under duress. James Washington is the real deal.

Defense... 7 sacks, hell yea. I sure hope Tuitt plays well this year. That D-line is gonna be a problem for a lot of opponents, plus making everything easier on the back end of the D. Just stay healthy Stephon! Great games from the entire cast. Bush & Vince are a formidable duo in the middle. Skipper continues to impress. Sean Davis (ankle) & Bud Dupree (thumb) got minor injuries during the game.

Maybe they go with 4 RBs...kinda doubt it, but Samuels is now the Steelers version of a scatback I guess. The closest they have to a change of pace guy.

PIT doesn't often cut 4th round picks (not recently anyway) so for that reason mostly, I've been going with Snell as the 3rd RB, but not playing in that game makes his 4th game critical to him sticking. If he's not healthy enough to play the final preseason game, he might not make the 53....probably won't actually.
