They paid about that yeah, so he is going to be an expensive backup, but wasn't his contract a lot like Alex Smith's in the sense that Seattle really isn't on the hook for the long-term? I thought that was one of the talking points NFL Network focused on when Seattle got Flynn.

Flynn's base value is only $19M with $5M in obtainable incentives and another $2M in incentives that are unlikely to be earned. 10M in guarantees. It shouldn't be that difficult to not play him or get rid of him after year 1 or 2.

I wonder if Kolb and Flynn will have any effect on one game wonder QBs in the future. Rob Johnson didn't, but Kolb and Flynn might be more high profile, and they come back to back.

Russell Okung got away with a big hold on Tamba Hali and then Hali was flagged for a late hit on Wilson. On the following play inside the redzone, Wilson hit one of his TEs in the endzone for a TD. Okung was beat by Hali real bad on that play, too.
