Preseason Game #2: Rams v.s GreenBay

Who the heck know piss-tons! The dude has had no time to throw the ball, reminds me of Bradford's Sophmore season...

Hey guys, jumping in a bit late. Don't think this is going to be Rams ball btw, he was out of bounds and didn't reestablish before recovering.

The health of our O line is key to our success this year. The WR's will get better as the season goes on and so will or RB corp, but the key will be keeping our starting OL together. I know one thing for sure, we will have Lance Kendricks in the two TE sets and he will most likely block to sure up the OL as he did last year. He is nursing a knee right now and probably wont see any preseason games until the last game, maybe a few snaps next game.

The 0 on the scoreboard is a bit misleading. We were at the goal-line and missed an open receiver. We failed on 4th down and declined a FG attempt later on. The starting OL was better but we've been patchy. We've also had penalties. The starting defense looked a bit lightweight, especially at LB. I'm not sure what we're trying to do on offense in the 2nd half. The back-up OL is shaky at best. We haven't kept our inexperienced WRs in the game but we haven't used our depth at TE to figure out the #3 & #4 spots either. I know from last year that our coaches go by practice play rather than these games but my failure to comprehend what they're thinking frustrates me.

Looks like a lot of preseason failures on both sides of the ball. We need to begin to derive some consistency, but as someone already has mentioned, our depth is suspect. More good straightforward drafts are needed and less money on FA are my suggestions in the future.

A disappointing game. We were competitive at every point and we were well organised. That said we were 2nd best at every point and we made too many errors. I know it's pre-season but you can't just flick a switch and expect the problems to disappear come the regular season.

Davis wasn't bad in the 1st game.

Plus, Clemens is who he is at this point in his career. Davis is still young and can continue to improve.

I like what Davis did tonight with that late-game bomb. He is picking up momentum over Clemons. We might be in trouble at a number of positions if the starters go down because we lack quality depth especially on the O-line.

I thought Davis was awful against the Browns. He was indecisive, ran when he shouldn't, and held on to it when he should have thrown it away. I think part of that was on the OL. Today the 3rd quarter OL was poor. The 4th quarter OL was patchy but it gave Davis a few opportunities.

Skitts24 isn't a Rams fan so he may not be back. He was watching his WV boys since the 49ers played yesterday.

Anybody have a good summary for the game? I ended up busy most of the day and literally the only thing they showed on ESPN was lots of Eddie Lacy.

I didn't watch the game, but from what I've read it seems the Rams are slow to round in to form. But, that is what pre-season is for.

Bradford had a very untimely fumble and the receivers haven't been utilized up to expectations.

But, there are signs that the Rams are making some progress, albeit slowly.

I expect them to show improvement with their next game.
