Really wish the rest of the PAC-12 would pick it up. Oregon's shoulders are getting tired from carrying the conference's weight.

With that said, being 9th isn't bad. Easy to move up 5 spots.

Oregon is tired of being the best in the PAC? That's a weird thing to say.

No, I am saying we need other programs within the conference to step it up so we get more games of top ranked Oregon vs a top ranked conference opponent.

I'm assuming LSU's 6 #1 votes are based on the "they are #1 until they lose again" logic. Which is completely retarded when it comes to college football.

goes along with my thoughts on the term defending champion. thats a term for a transitional champ like boxing or UFC. LSU will always be the 2019 season champion they cant lose that (short of scandal and a stripping) so they aren't defending it from being taken away.

I would rank Florida ahead of LSU and Georgia. Texas, who knows? North Carolina is my surprise team of the year at this moment.

last year a$m was a unranked team that finished 4-4 in Conference Play... their recruiting violation will hurt recruiting now ... time to find my wheels come off the bus annual thread ... lol

I see UNC as a legit threat to be the #2 team in the ACC this year and play in Charlotte. Everyone's just assuming it will be Clemson-Notre Dame for a rematch. But UNC is now just as talented as Notre Dame in the starting positions (not quite the depth), with a better QB, and a better coach.

Pick Six are idiots. What has Tennessee done to justify being #15? And let's talk Miami. They were a bad team last year who ended the season getting beat by Duke by 2 scores, losing to Florida International, and then getting shut out by Louisiana Tech. They lose a lot of their production, including most of their front 7. Their best player just opted out. But they add a G5 QB who completed 50% of his passes last year against 4 teams with atrocious defenses before quitting on his team and now they're a ranked team?
