yea, I'd like to think we can compete, but the problem is containing rg3 today, redskins have a pretty decent offense, and they are playing at home.

I picked them to go either 10-6 or 11-5 and this was indeed one of the wins.

I am hoping we can start off 5-1, but I will be honest, looking at this defense, I do not see much chance we go 10-6 more less 11-5 with the group of teams we play the last half of the year.

I hope I am wrong and you are right though. We just look too vulnerable and while I like our passing game, we have no offensive run game to protect the passing offense against good defenses, and our defense outside the DL is so porous it is ridiculous.

Looking at the schedule, things don't look as bad as they did a few weeks ago. Denver isn't very impressive and the Steelers might actually suck for once. But if we have any shot at the playoffs, we'll need something out of the linebackers and Dbs..... The d-line is awesome - The rest of the D sucks.

Steelers are meh. Same with Broncos. Ravens aren't as good as we made them look week 1. I can't remember who else we play though.

We're 2-1, but we aren't a very good 2-1. People did the same thing last season. Prior to the season, they knew we wouldn't be good, but would probably start out well. And when we did start out well, they got sucked into drinking the kool-aid and actually thinking we were good.

Same story, different year.

Most people had us at 2-1 at this point in the season. Nothing more, nothing less. Cleveland almost beat us if not for the punt return. Washington gave us the game in the first half.

That said, while I thought we'd be 0-2 against the Steelers, I could see 1-1. However, Harrison and Polamalu will likely be back by the time we play them Week 7.

I don't like our defense against Peyton.

I see us sitting at 4-3 going into the bye. Losses against Miami and Pitt.

Miami is turning out to be not so bad.

but passing defense appears to be their weakness, Bush will be out, but Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas will be sufficient, but the pass defense will be the thing, so we should win that one, I hope. We need to take this 3 game gift and fire off good performance against pitt at home.
