I expect michigan st to have major advantage tuesday. Experience usually wins early in the season. I'll take duke over Kansas. Do they serve booze at the event?

I think Michigan State wins by double digits. Kentucky is so young and I think this is a really good time to get Kentucky for Mich State.

I'll take Duke over Kansas, by at least 10.

I think there will be a lot of points scored in this game. UK definitely wants to get up and down the floor, and the MSU team this year does also. I don't believe it will be a double digit win for MSU. They could win, but if they do I think it will be by less than 6. I'm thinking both teams will be in it with less than 2 minutes to go. Just a note...Cal is extremely high on UK...but says they have to play a great game to win.

So how about 86-82 and you guess which one wins!

The MOST talented young teams typically lose a game semi early in the year from the Fab 5 losing to Duke to the 11-12 Cats losing to the Hoosiers and itll be tough for UK to sidestep that tomorrow. I really have no clue how good this team is anyway where I know MSU is a Final 4 caliber team.

That's fair enough, and actually I think this would not be a bad game for UK to lose. It would put a stop to all the 40-0 bullshirt by many UK fans...the pressure of trying to achieve that goal and the realities of doing so would just be "Dust In The Wind" The focus then could be on getting better and maturing enough to meet MSU in the FF...which I think will be happening if MSU does their part <---- This is my only UK homer line.

Yeah I said on another thread that UK could win the NC going 38-2 OR they could miss the tourney altogether and lose 12-14 games and neither would shock me at all. Just so tough to get a read on teams that are SO young and chemistry plays such a huge role in CBB that trying to guess how 8-10 18 and 19 year olds are going to mesh is about impossible. Hell even tomorrow UK winning by 15 isnt unreasonable but them losing by 15 isnt either IMO

Kentucky may have 38 NBA players but last I checked its five on five. And we have four starters RETURNING bound for the NBA. We have done more than practice and scrimmage together for 2 months. Appling has been a starting point guard for 4 years. Payne is a beast and a lottery pick. Harris sees the game like he his playing in the park with his buddies, effortless, lottery pick. Dawson is one of the best pure athletes in the game, litteraly can play the 1-5. Valentine plays the game like Magic Johnson, no look passes and all. Trice is a pure shooter, can shoot a three from the locker room blind folded. And another five behind them that are great. Depth will be a factor this year with sneezes called as fouls. Again.... Sparty by double digits
