Anyone want to venture a guess on this game? If you predict a Rams victory and are correct, I think we should anoint you with the title of "Psychic One" Of course if you're wrong you have to send all of us some of what you've been smoking:what: My prediction; Rams 38 - 14pts for dropped passes, -7 points for penalties, -10 points for asinine playcalling and inept QB play= Rams 7. Now for the Colts....7 + 10 points for Rams missed tackles, + 10 points for Rams failed gambles, +10 points for 2nd opportunities because of Rams penalties = Colts 37 Rams 7. :burt:

I ain't smoking anything but I'll go out on a limb and say 3 is a charm. Might just completely have this figured out wrong especially with Shotts play calling but I go Rams 20 Colts 17. I will show the reasoning which is like saying, by all accounts Sam Bradford must be the top of the QBs with his #1 pick status, $$$salary and TD to interception ratio, that can all be rebuted and has and will be.

The Colts have a tough time stopping the run. OK they could put 8 in the box but so did the Seahawks and Titans and Stacy and the OL did a good job. I say they do it again and Stacy gets into the end zone twice again. Clemens passing and moving the pocket (the later is much better than Bradford)will move the chains and if Shotts would call a decent game on 1st down, he might have a decent day. When are we going to see Austin and Stacy in the backfield at the same time, it is the mis-direction avenue missing? Colts DST is overrated in my opinion. Greg the leg gets his 3 field goals in the dome.

Andrew Luck will be have to find Hilton and he should be covered by Jenkins. Hopefully never Finnegan. But whatever side Hilton is on shade it and mix up the coverage. Put a spy on Fleener and make Richardson and Brown beat you. They can't. The hard part is Luck extending the play with his legs and that is a problem for Quinn and Long, hold cantainment. The noise in the dome will hurt the Rams but with them so close the past two games, I think they find a way.

It would be hard to put money on my guess, and by all accounts the rest of you are correct. It should be 30-7 or something like that but something tells me, the Rams play hard prior to the bye and get a win.

I think we match up well enough to give them a game but we'll find a way to mess it up. 17-13 Colts

I'm going to Indy on Sunday with my oldest son (Colts fan) to watch the game. One of us will be happy on the drive home and I'm 99.99999999999% it won't be me.

I am not real sure on this and I am terrible at predictions. I'll just wait and see as usual.

Rooting for the Rams, of course. I continue to be a glutton for punishment.

Rams are unlikely to overcome Luck & Company. Offense continues to struggle and I've lost confidence in the Coaching Staff knowing the right plays to run in pressure situations.

Rams have got to use Austin more and I'd love to see what Stedman Bailey can do.

I usually never predict

I am with Retroram52, I don't like to predict scores but I do have opinions.
1. Rams fold early.
2. Rams play good then penalties and turnovers begin.
3. Rams play good, lead, make stupid mistakes give up lead.
4 Rams play good, have lead and lose lead, have lead and then allows Colts to score with 1 second left in game.
5. Ram players begin to fight between themselves on the field drawing personal fouls.
6. I have no idea what this team sill do to piss us off after the game. I don't see them winning and if they di it's a bonus!

its obvious the Rams will lose when you compare the teams on paper. Unless the Rams play GREAT football, I don't see them winning or even coming close.

My whole though process has to do with the defense. If they can avoid mistakes, the Colts O line is softer than a marshmallow. Long and Quinn annoy Luck all day long, forcing him into many bad passes that I feel leads to at least a couple INTS. Trent Richardson is proving the Browns right every single week. He is not as good as advertised. Just another Bama running back with big hype and mediocre to no production (see also Ingram,Mark). On the other side of the ball, Robert Mathis is good, but not THAT good. He can be double and stopped. The Colts have nobody else. Stacy will have another 100 yard rushing day and I also predict that Tavon and/or Chris Givens will turn at least 1 bubble screen into a 60/70 yard play. So to whoever said on paper this looks like a Colts blowout is the crazy one.
Our Defensive front seven > Their O line
Our O Line = Their front seven
Their WR (minus Wayne) = Our DB's
Our WR >= their DB's
RB are equal (like it or not)
Only place they are better than us on paper is QB

24-21 Rams on a late Legatron FG

You're a brave man ksudodger. You could look like a genius, or a hopelessly optimistic fool. If all that you say about the players is true, I think you still overlooked the coaching staff. Hypothetically if everything else is equal, than coaching is the main reason we've floundered this season. With that in mind, they will yet again find a way to bumble their way to defeat I'm afraid.

You may very well be right BOSS, but my attitude is that they might have seen the light with guys like Stacy and Bailey. I say give Bailey the reps that Quick has been getting. Put him in 3 WR sets with Austin and Givens... who do you cover?
I think in the end, the defense is what wins us this game. The offense will continue to look like a bit of a hamster on a wheel, but the defense will step up and score points.

Also, prediction here. Tavon will score a PR or KR TD today without it being called back.

I think the offense only scores 10 points. 14 from DEF/ST

I agree with you that somebody else should start instead of Quick. Him and Pead were a complete reach and a waste of high draft picks. It really wouldn't surprise me if the Rams started playing better near the end of the season to give people the impression that the players and coaches finally figured it out. But we thought they had it figured out last season and this one was supposed to be another step forward. IMHO I think that would only give the fans and organization false hope if that occurred. In addition our draft position would also suffer for basically what? I'm convinced that Fisher and staff are not the right people for the job. He continues to put his faith in Bradford, whom I'm not a fan of--but that's another argument. He also enables Shottenheimer to constantly run the same old unimaginative offense every week, misusing the talent we do have on offense, and the same old stale playcalling. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but if the Rams finish strong this season, I would see at least another year of futility with Fisher and Co. So to be honest with you I'm hoping for a loss, as unloyal as that sounds. The only way that heads will roll is if the team hits rock bottom. Sorry, I got off on kind of a rant here.

Well, I gotta give credit where credit is do. You really called this one right ksudodger. Your prediction of our defense winning the game was spot on, and also you had the defense scoring for us, and you also had the Tavon Austin breakout called correctly. Great job oh mighty genius! Now on to more important things....what do you think the numbers will be for tomorrow's lottery drawing....:)

Yea Boss and KSU. I acknowledged the masterful job of prognostication at the end of my game analysis by KSUDodgers. I hope I got everyone's correct predictions.
