Now as we enter the win or go home phase of this NFL season, there are a few things that I personally would like to see and conversly not see as we host the GB Packers on Sunday. First and formost...... not an abundance of Green and Gold jerseys in our place, I know that they travel well but c'mon man, this is a playoff game and our fans need to represent. Next, no lulls, everybody in attendance should go full throat from coin flip to final gun. Let the rest of the NFL know that whenever we host a playoff game from this point on, we too have a 12th man that they will have to deal with like another team that goes nameless here. On the field, no let up especially if and hopefully when our guys take a sizeable lead. Give them no chance to build momentum. Finally, I want to see, Scott Tolzien, which to me means that (.barring injury) our guys have held Rogers to the level of play that's marked this season especially the second half of this season for him. OK, that's my take....as usual the questions are:

1. Who wins this one and final score?
2. Player and or notable play of the game?
3. What's going to be the water cooler top topic on Monday morning about this game?
4. (Playoff bonus) what are some things that you want to see/not see during this game?

Skins win 31-27
KC with a notable play of 78 yards to DJ.
Arizona and having to hit Carson Palmer.
I want to see our secondary not get obliterated...that will be how we win. I want to see a disciplined team that looks like they belong in the postseason.

Our secondary has already been obliterated. Most of our starters are on IR. But now it's time for next man up. I'm not even sure who the next man is at this point.

Skins 31-21. MVP KC. If Packers LT is out plus Shields we should be able to win this game. Packers secondary looks like a huge weakness against on WR's and TE.

Packers 28. Redskins 24
KC throws 2 pics, including a pick 6. He also throws 3 TDs
Buzz the next day will be that KC is back to his old ways and we enter the offseason looking at a three month debate over KCs contract value.

Shit, you think we are going to score 24 points??

I got the Packers winning by 30-3, Kirk throwing 2 pick sixes and we trade up to draft Wentz in the top ten or retain RG3.

Cousins will be bagging groceries by the start of the league year.

Shark Kirk is going against rookie CB's. You don't think we are going to score?

IM just going off of what Im being told. Which is Kirk is a one year wonder that feasted on Shitty teams. Green Bay is a premier team and Rogers is a GOD. NO way do we have a shot in this game.

In fact Green Bay could leave 50 players from their roster at home. As long as Rogers, Matthews and Lacy are there, they could grab 50 fans out of the stands and we are going to get smoked.

We only score three because Lacy shows pity on us with 12 seconds left fumbles the ball on the Green Bay 12 yard line thus allowing us to kick a field goal and avoid the complete shut out.

After all Kirk Sucks, we need to either retain RG3, or trade up to draft a QB. Because Kirk is NOT a real starting QB.

Or so I have been told.

Score: Skins 28 - Packers 17

MVP: The OL. They open up some nice holes for Alf, Jones, and CT and the Skins have a better than decent running game. As well as keep Cousins uni clean all game long.

Water Cooler Talk: The Skins, offense scoring points/defense coming up with TOs and big stops.

I wanna see the continuing maturation of Cousins, the continued cohesion of the offense and jelling of the defense.

There's problems in Titletown. Team and Rodgers played much better when Tom Clemons was calling the plays, not McCarthy. They haven't played well since. Redskins can win this game.

Clemons or McCarthy calling plays isn't the problem with the Packer's offense. Their OL is badly banged up and they have been using backups most of the season. The timing between Rodgers and his receivers has suffered because opposing defenses have been able to put constant pressure on him. Unless the Packers can get a strong performance from its RBs it looks like the Redskins may not need to score very many points to win this game.

OK, I'm feeling a close one with Washington winning on a late field goal, 27-24
Co-MVP's C. Baker and P. Smith as they constantly get pressure on Rogers.
Water cooler topic: next game up, and long odds against winning it on the road. ( injuries)
Beyond those mentioned, playing disciplined especially D. Hall.

D Hall is one of my biggest concerns. He has given up quite a few big plays as he is still learning the position. He has constantly been late covering the deep sideline pass. NFL network ran a segment on this, showing all of the big plays he has given up over the last 3 games. There was at least 2 per game. you know that Rodgers is aware of this.

Exactly! ! This is why I'm predicting big games from Smith and Baker ( actually hoping) to cover up for some of his gambles, fingers crossed man.

Redskins win 27-17.
KC to Reed for one score, Morris for another score, DeSean Jackson sets up the third score.
Secondary plays press coverage on wr's who can't beat press coverage easily, Rodgers plays well enough, but the Pack can't keep it up a whole game.

Talk next week turns to who we play next, and how likely it will be that absolutely nobody will consider the Redskins as anything other than a fluke.

my only concern is if the moment is to big for our young players and HC

that being said i think we can get the victory 33 to 31 as rodgers scare the be jesus out of us

if we lose i bet the skins faithful will give the team a standing ovation for a great season

on a side note i cant imagine any skins fans giving up their tickets to packer fans in a playoff game . i know GB fans travel well but boy i dont see that happening much

The problem is, alot of season ticket holders sell the lot and the rights to any playoffs tickets before the season even arrives. I know Vivid Seats gives 10% over face value for the lot if you sell the rights for the season before the season starts. Hell there are still dream seats available for instant download, and the game is less than 24 hours away.

Between them, Stubnub, NFL ticket exchange and scalpers..... I wish I could say we will fill the stadium with Skins fans. But I get the feeling there will be alot of green and yellow in the stands.
