You're missing the point. Rak claims he's elite. He wants an elite money contract. Elite players make impact plays. Name the last impact play Rak has had? The last one I can remember was an INT for a TD last year. If I remember correctly, it was a tipped pass so it was more of being in the right place at the right time that making a play. Many make excuses for RAK. He's double teamed. He drops in coverage too much. Whatever. The bottom line is elite ROLBs make impact, game changing plays. Rak doesn't really do that. He goes dark for too long of a period during games, especially in the 4th Qtr when we need a stop or a turnover. He is a very good player, but he has got to step up his game to be in the elite category.

What Dad? Saying Murphy isn't making impact plays either is a bit unfair since he really has not had the opportunity that Rak has had. Not that Murphy is ready either imo.

All I'm saying is Rak wants to get paid like an ELITE player, then show me something week after week! JY is absolutely correct, Rak disappears far too often.

Murphy is a rookie, gets a quarter of the snaps and hasn't declared himself elite with nothing to prove.

This isn't about Murphy, its about Rak and reasonable expectations of him. I hope he turns it on and has a huge sack in the 4th Qtr tonight that results in a turnover. I will gladly eat my words. But he has not lived up to his own billings.

I told you guys Rak is not worth the money in the FA period. Kerrigan is clearly the better player. Rak will get overpaid in FA he wont take less to stay here. He is not worth 10 mil per year. Just my opinion. I hope I eat my words and Rak turns it on for our teams sake. The best players on defense have been Robinson and Kerrigan so far.
