There have been many regional and intra-divisional rivalries of NFL lore, none greater than what we hopefully, are about to renew on Thursday's holiday evening. While it's true that Dallas and Washington met earlier in the season, both teams' fortunes have significantly been enhanced by winning the majority of their games thus far. Dallas with a near spotless 9-1 record, vaunted running game, and very impressive rookie QB welcomes Washington and their 6-3-1 record, reinvigorated running game, and nearly impossible to stop aerial attack, no doubt, will have many pouring over stats, seeking justification through them, as reason or not, why one team or the other will prevail. For me, there's only one stat that has any meaning in this one and that is, who has the ball last. In a extremely entertaining holiday tilt, with all sorts of ramifications on the line, including a reigniting of a rating magnet for the NFL. Going on no particular rhyme or reason just my gut and maybe a bit of hopeful exuberance, in what I see as a fairly even match-up. I'm going with Washington in a shootout, 34-31.

The questions as usual:

1. Who wins and final score?

2. Player(s) of the game?

3. Memorial moment, event or play that will have them buzzing at the water cooler on Monday?

Good luck to one and all!!!

Unfortunately, I see the party bus that is DC right now hitting a big pot hole this week and temporarily slowing things down. We just will not be able to stop Elliott from gashing us for 150 yards on the ground, including a couple of big gainers. I don't think it will ever be close as we will be in constant catch up mode. I see dallas winning at home 28-20. KC has an overall good game, but gives up two turnovers, one a strip sack that seals the deal. Play of the game will be Elliott ripping off a 60+ yard run for a TD after breaking two tackles behind the LOS. Water cooler buzz will be, again, KC and does he deserve a big contract as he just turns in an average performance, 25-38, 285 yds 1 TD 1 INT.

I am thinking Su'a might get even more time tomorrow to spy on Prescott. Redskins do not play the run well. The key to slowing down Dallas offense in my mind is keep them off the field. Time of possession is key in this game. I think Norman can do well against Bryant but I am worried about Beasley against Fuller.

I think the Redskins can score but they need to control the TOP. Moses and Ty both have ankle issues. Could be tough with only three days off.

Three point game either way.
