Well, here we are again, facing another "must beat" team in the fourth quarter of the 2016 campaign. This time we again have a national TV audience, but face the still defending NFC champions of a season removed. The Carolina Panthers sporting their 5-8 season record will come into FedEx field as a 6.5 point underdog and look to play spoilers against one of their former top defensive players and his new team.
Josh Norman, and company on the other hand would love nothing better at this point, than a 6 point or greater victory, that keeps them contending for the 6th and final playoff spot in what is now clearly a race to the finish. Tamps Bay, which currently holds that position by just a half game over Jay Gruden's troops with a mere three games left to this season will keep a keen eye on this one as they too must win out in order to clinch that spot.
The boys in burgundy and gold have but one mission going forward, focus on the task at hand, win out, and hope that somewhere along the line the Buccaneers falters. That mission, in a week, just like the last one, continues on Monday night......Washington 34, Carolina 24.
The questions as usual:
1. Who wins and final score?
2. Player(s) of the game?
3. Memorial moment, event or play that will have them buzzing at the water cooler on Monday?
