Prediction Friday...A very Big Game!

In what is clearly the biggest game of the young season, Washington, with a win can signal that they are serious players in their ultimate quest to reach the post season. Way too early you say? Hardly, with a win Washington goes 3-1 and puts themselves in a position to reach 9-7 by merely playing even the rest of the way. Maintaining that 3-1 pace and we're looking at a 12-4 finish. Unfortunately, their host on this nationally televised game won't be in any mood to accommodate their guests as they too look to solidify their Super-bowl aspirations with an improvement to 4-1.

Early predictions all point to a high scoring contest, with the 6.5 point favorite Saints prevailing at game's end. Unless there's a complete reversal by one or both teams defensively, I'm taking the opposite view and predict a tight, close, high teen, low 20's affair with a field goal making the difference. That's my take, it's prediction Friday, what's yours?

Didn't have us beating the Pack so what the h-e-l-l do I know about this football team. What I do know, is our defense is not getting the credit they deserve going into this matchup. That is what I am keeping an eye on. All this talk about Ingram returning to pair with Kamara. Kamara this and Kamara that. Michael Thomas and Drew Bree's breaking another yardage record. Not one mention of an improved defense that the Saints have to deal with.
