Wasn’t as bad as Maryland against OSU last season where OSU has shown nothing to indicate they could stop Maryland’s offense, but if I were Mack Brown I think I would have had more faith in my defense that had kept Clemson in check the entire game

I said before I like the call and the balls by Mack. But two things that didn't make sense:

1. The play call. Like wtf? Give your QB as many options as possible on that last play, he didn't even have an option to throw on that play.

2. There was still a lot of time left on the clock so even if they get that two point conversion Clemson had plenty of time to drive down the field and kick a field goal. I could see if there was 20-30 seconds

One score game...a lot of stuff happened during that game which could've given them another score. And you know it!

Well I would say if A&M didn't miss those two FG attempts it might've been closer but it wasn't.

On defense the Gators must get turnovers. The line is weak, and the DBs aren't there yet.

It rarely works, and you’re basically telling a team, who was the better team that day for the majority of the game that you don’t believe they can beat the other team in OT. OT probably favored Clemson, but if you get a deflected pass interception you can win with a chip shot fg

I think you have to be on the sidelines to really gage it. Mac has been in the game a long time and it's not like he had a lot of defensive depth to work with. If his guys all have their tongues hanging out and hands on their hips it's probably a better idea to just go for it.

Auburn, Alabama and Georgia all have the depth to go into multiple OT's if necessary but that's a luxury most teams don't have. We beat Oregon in the 4th quarter because we had the D depth to bail out a freshman QB.

I like Auburn because of their defensive. A close game about 20-17 Auburn. Upset is definitely possible.

I don't have an opinion on who wins this one, nor do I really care, but why is any win over Mississippi State considered impressive?

I’m more impressed by the MOV than the victory itself. MSU isn’t that good, but isn’t awful either.

There was too much time left on the clock to go for two. Even if you make the two, you likely get an unsportsmanlike penalty, kick off from the 20, and just move them closer to FG range. At least you can kick it deep with the score tied and take your chance (albeit small) in OT.

Yeah, I was surprised to see Auburn favored only by a couple and a push before that. It sounds like bullshit to me.

I’m used to the other team scoring on their first drive and having to dig out.

Did you forget the 2005 Alabama @ Auburn "Honk if you sacked Brodie" game? It was 21-0 before everybody was in their seats.
