That'll be a good one. Washington has matched up well and played them extremely tough lately.

It would setup well. Weather would be perfection. Stanford has to play USC on Sept 6th because of the Notre Dame game later in the PAC season. If they win that one. Huskies 4-0 vs. Stanford 3-0. Stanford would be touching a top10 ranking and Huskies would be in the top20. Petersen's PAC premiere. It would have to be one of the candidates for sure.

What are your personal expectations for Petersen in year one and then beyond?

I have high confidence Petersen will take UW to the next level. We were starting to get there last year finally. He's got world class facilities to help with recruiting. He's one of the best in the business at evaluating talent and bringing in the right type of players for the schemes he runs.

But this year will have it's challenges.

The defense installed by DC Justin Wilcox the past two seasons is the same one he was taught working as a Petersen assistant. We're going to have a very young D backfield, but I think overall, the transition for our D is going to be pretty seamless.

I think the offense is the one that is going to be more of a work in progress. Petersen runs a lot more spread looks than Sark. We lost Sankey to the NFL. It will be more of a running game by committee this year. I actually probably benefits him that Keith Price graduated and whoever is our starting QB for 2014 and on, he doesn't have to try to learn an entire new system midway through his college career. Timing worked out well on that one.

Right now, I'd like to say 8-9 wins this year, unless we really lay some eggs against teams we should beat. Petersen inherited a team that's loaded with experienced Seniors and Jrs for 2014.

Going forward, I believe he'll always have us in the top Tier of the PAC teams (1-4 out of the 12). Plus he's a master at pulling the Ducks pants down on national tv so their days are numbered in the North.
Rose Bowl in 2-3 years.

Desmond hates coming into ELand they choose the worst location for the setup where there is no way to pack the students in. Crowded with too many trees so it looks bad.
