Jumping to conclusions? There are all kinds of predictions for this season posted through this message board. Maybe some of the people in here just don't feeling like repeating themselves in your thread.

But I will offer this one little nugget: there is no way in hell Nelson Cruz is going to hit 39 homeruns this year. ARod and Sexson are the only Mariners to hit that many in one season in the Safeco Field era and Cruz, at 34-35 years old, does not have the power those two had.

Also, 675 runs may not be enough to get them where they want to be. I've a few that the magic numbers for the M's to take the crown is 700 RS. Unless again.... the pitching is lights out.

Couple of aspects to this prediction I felt was true.

1) They didn't even get to 675 Runs, not even close! 700 RS, would've maybe made a difference consider the number of one run games the team saw this season.

2) The pitching was not lights out. Gave up 726 runs. Both SP and BP regressed terribly.
