BOLD PREDICTION: James Harden wins Defensive Player of the Year.
Rockets will finish 12th in the West and D'antoni will get canned.
This is more likely than shaqdaddy's prediction.
Golden State is not losing to anybody in the West without multiple major injuries, and Cleveland is not losing in the East unless LeBron gets injured.
One can hope!
Rockets will finish 12th in the West and D'antoni will get canned.
Got them at 48 wins...They won 56 two years ago. As a Suns fan one would think you'd know what kind of impact D'Antoni could have on an offense, especially now that lane-clogger Howard is gone.
As a Suns fan I know exactly what he'll bring to the offense, but I also know what he'll do to a defense that was already uninspiring as is. They will be fun to watch if you're a fan of the 7 seconds or less, but will also give up 120 a game.
That team has nowhere near the talent the Run N Gun Suns had, I promise you that team is going to be a disaster. Harden will get his, they'll score a lot, but ultimately it won't be enough.
From 56 wins in 2015 to the #12 seed in 2017???
Look I get that people hate Harden and rightfully so, but that's a little extreme don't you think? They still got some good defensive-minded piece such as Beverly, Ariza, Brewer, and even new acquisition Tyler Ennis (and this really was the best landing spot for him to boost his offensive output). Good defnders don't suddenly become bad just with a coaching change.
Time will tell, I just think they are set up for failure.
Defensive wins championships, and neither Harden or D'Antoni knows shit about D. I'm with you on Houston.
Well gee no one said anything about championships einstein, just the #4 seed and home court in the first round.
