Non-power 5 opponent in Shreveport - where the cheapest flight from DC is $567 and requires traveling on Christmas?

Forgive me for not seeing you out in person, Frank.
S'port is ridiculously overpriced to fly into. When I have to go , sometimes it's better to fly to Dallas and drive aover (2hr).
Football has always been a sport I've preferred to watch on TV, especially since you can't drink inside most college stadiums.

I'll make my way to see a game between the hedges one of these days, it's on the bucket list, but especially now that we have the SEC Network and all games are televised, I enjoy watching the games on the tube.

Baseball and NASCAR are different stories though.
Jawja fan and never been BTW the hedges??? Your missing out on a huge part of being a fan. I'll take a live event over TV anyday....

The only college game I've ever been to was Manziel's last college game in a bowl against Duke where he lead a big comeback at the Georgia Dome.

NASCAR is my favorite sport to attend live.

Ditto except ours in El Paso. No reason to spend a boat load of money when you can't even make a trip out of it.

San Antonio Texas for the Alamo Bowl? Hell no.
Yeah Oregon is easily the worst team as far as traveling to San Antonio the Alamo bowl has seen since the bowl game moved up to Pac 12 vs big 12

I've only been to a handful of stadiums, but Georgia was by far my least favorite (but, that's likely because I went to their game against Southern)

We are in something called a cactus bowl. Sounds like a really good time don't it? Lets eat a f'n cactus. Our closest opponent is 700 miles away and now our bowl game is somewhere that they have cactuses.... Im guessing.

That's where I live and it's really nice here this time of the year. 70's and 80's most of the time, and of course a known area for hot chicks.
