They have a decent lineup though. 8 pretty good hitters, albeit one of them is an automatic out with runners on base.
He'll get two-out, bases empty hits all day but put him up there with runners at first and third and less than two out and he turns into Mario Mendoza.

Agreed. And no one, absolutely no one, thought or expected the Giants pitching staff to throw two shutouts. Completely unexpected; thus they "stole" them.

The fallacy in your thinking in your previous posts in this thread is that there is no way the Giants can continue to pitch shutouts; 100 years of history tells us this. However, the past season and a half tells us that it is entirely possible that the Giants will score only a run a game over and over again.

You would think it would be but so far they are picking up on their old habits. On paper they have 8 solid hitters in the lineup although one will hit all day with two out and nobody on but turns into Mario Mendoza with runners on the corners and less than two outs.
