They have a decent lineup though. 8 pretty good hitters, albeit one of them is an automatic out with runners on base.bullpen needs work
Nice to win some games like this . if your team gets 2 hits and wins, you stole one.The offensive juggernaught that is the San Francisco Giants are 2-0.
If your opponent gets 1 hit and no runs, you flat out won a game.Nice to win some games like this . if your team gets 2 hits and wins, you stole one.
Nope. You stole 1; stole 2. Posey and Longoria haven't got a hit all season and the team is 2 and oh? Couldn't ask for more.If your opponent gets 1 hit and no runs, you flat out won a game.
More than half. Still, if you score two runs in two games you don't expect to be 2 and oh, you expect to be oh and 2. We are two to the good in my opinion. We will need everything we can get.Blach and Cueto have shut down one of the expected more potent lineups in the NL.
You realize pitching half the game, right?
Oh sorry, I forgot, “your” teams just play like crap when they lose and are gifted wins by their opponents when they win. Sorry. I will try to remember that for next time.
Agreed. And no one, absolutely no one, thought or expected the Giants pitching staff to throw two shutouts. Completely unexpected; thus they "stole" them. When you shut our your opponent in two games, you expect to be 2 and oh. Every MLB team wins 60 and loses 60. The other 40 are where the good teams separate themselves from the bad teams.
So anything unexpected is stolen?Agreed. And no one, absolutely no one, thought or expected the Giants pitching staff to throw two shutouts. Completely unexpected; thus they "stole" them.
Well, generally, yes, because you weren't counting on this outcome. You feel like you stole one (two). The fallacy in your thinking in your previous posts in this thread is that there is no way the Giants can continue to pitch shutouts; 100 years of history tells us this. However, the past season and a half tells us that it is entirely possible that the Giants will score only a run a game over and over again. So anything unexpected is stolen?

You would think it would be but so far they are picking up on their old habits. On paper they have 8 solid hitters in the lineup although one will hit all day with two out and nobody on but turns into Mario Mendoza with runners on the corners and less than two outs.So as usual you were full of shit in the NL West thread talking about how much improved the Giants offense will be. Got it.
