I think the "concern thing" is a game. It's a way to send a message to RG3 that we need him to protect himself.

I think the waiting to announce it till Monday is Shanahan showing he's in control of the situation and that there was a process. And that process ends with him saying Griffin will play.

The concerns are that shanahan doesn't want to tip his hand to Philly before he has to.

Seriously, of course Andrews has concerns. RG3 has had two reconstructive surgeries on his knee. These concerns will be with him the rest of his career. If Andrews has cleared him, he has basically said that the knee is as structurally sound as it is going to get. He will never be 100% and you guys crying to keep him on the shelf until it is will never see him play then. He doesn't do us any good on the bench. Now if Andrews said that he needs another 2-4 weeks for the knee to heal, then that's when you keep him on the sideline.

This is now up to RG3. He needs to play smart for the rest of his career, no matter how long that is. He must use his speed to first avoid the big hit then to pick up yards. Learn how to throw the ball away. To Slide. To use the sideline as protection. If he does these things, he can play for a long time.

its a non issue and only the nancy's are concerned

if he is cleared by the doctor then health wise he is fine . the rest is on the coach and RG3

my prediction is we have seen the last of the knee injuries

Medically cleared but still concerns. Medically cleared says it all imo. So what are the concerns? Perhaps that RG3 will feel like superman all over again and take off down the middle to take on some 250lb linebacker head on. At some point RG3 has to be the only one responisble for RG3. It's his body and only he knows how the knee truly feels. If he gets hurt in this game or sometime in the first 4 Shanahan should not take any blame. Bring on Philly.
