So long as MB has the HC title there will be no comment from the school or Brown on his status. If you look at most of the online journalists from Texas and the blogs, I do believe it's a foregone conclusion that he will resign. It's just a matter of when not if IMO.
-------I don't understand why anything would be considered bad news to Husker fans regarding Mack Brown.....
He could offer to pay us 1 million a year out of his own pocket to come coach here and we wiuld probably pay him 5 million to take a hike.

Don't be too sure about the school paying him anything to take a hike. Browns biggest drawback is that he has not been given the chance to regroup from the time he lost a lot of his assistatnt coaches. After all when you're Texas, you've got to be the best year in and year out regardless.
Do I like the guys personality? No, but he has the pedigre that means wins and given that chance elsewhere, I think he'd do it again. He's turned two programs around. And he'd still recruit well in Texas.
Would he be better than Bo? IMO yes. Any HC whether he's building a staff from scratch or replacing some assistants has to play a wait and see game to make sure they all work well together. Brown had that chemistry for over a decade at Texas because basically he had a group of coaches that worked well together depsite the cooker pressure attitude of Texas. He really hasn't had that option over the last handfull of years.
Now go ahead and tell me I'm full of shit

I become physically ill when I see people speculate over dumb shit like this.

Mack Brown can't win with 5 star talent across the board....
There's no way he can win anywhere else

Well, he did win for over a decade with five star talent. Again, I don't think all that's happened recently with the Texas program is entirely his fault.
since Nebraska left they havent won a big12 title or been a major force they used to be.
