Supposedly, the city council already approved plans to build a stadium. But what about MLB?

Is expansion in their plans? If so, will they add another team and do a realignment similar to NFL with 8 4-team divisions? What are other possible cities? Charlotte? Nashville?

Or will they force a team like the Rays to relocate?

Has anyone heard about this from MLB's perspective?
