As per usual, we find a way to give a struggling team its mojo back, with Ron Wilson and the traditional baffled look on his face. This game will probably start our 8 or 10 game winless streak.

First things first... these lines were golden!

Lucic-Kelly-Seguin
Marchand-Bergeron-Horton
Pouliot-Krejci-Peverley
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Boychuk
Seidenberg-Corvo
Ference-Kampfer

Things I got from the game last night:

- I really like Lucic and Seguin together. Seguin has really gotten a new mentality from Recchi last season and it blends so well with Lucic. Kelly centering them is going to lead to many net crashing dirty goals, they all have no problem in the high traffic areas.

- I really like Horton and Marchand together. Being centered by Bergy, this can be a high scoring, hot tempered line, which I am all for. Marshy is always going 110%, Horton is clutch and Bergy is just a machine.

- Corvo > Kaberle! Corvo looked great last night. His vision on the ice is way better than Kaberle's was, it is going to take a few more games to see if his passing is as good as Kaberles was. But all in all, really happy with the acquisition of Corvo.

- Ference had a huge game last night as well. He looked great on special teams keeping the puck in. Stats are proof of that with 3 assists and a +2 last night.

- And one of the best things from last night was Timmy back to last years form and Chara really upping his game.

Now... Hopefully we can keep that play going. I think CJ was definitely pleased with results of the line changes last night. Maybe that was just what this team needed. At first I was wary of the lineup juggling, I thought it would just screw up the chemistry even more, but boy was I wrong. Hopefully he keeps these lines for a while.

To add to this analysis of last night, I really like Kampfer's style of play, but I just wish he would put on a little more size. He is never afraid of going one on one with anybody, and always takes the hit from an oncomer, but you can just see the difference in body sizes out there, he gets moved around too easily. I def believe that if he put on a little size he could be a real force on the blueline.
