I don't understand how the Yankees keep winning with the array of non hitters they have in the lineup. At any given time they have at least 5 guys with batting averages that are lower than .250, with 3 of them lower than .200

The Phillies are beyond ridiculous. Is 2016 going to be even worse? It's sad when the best thing about this season is that Papelbon may have to play here the entire season, and it rankles him. Apparently Amaro is safe no matter how rotten things get. It's truly hopeless. 25 yr old guys in AAA who "aren't ready?" How can this be?

The two guys at the top of the lineup both batting over .300, the occasional hit from the other players to bring them in. Second in the Majors in HRs. Combine all that with a pitching staff that keeps the opposition under 3 Runs.

I think we knew this was coming when they committed to riding out the careers of Utley, Howard, Rollins(who was finally traded) & Cliff Lee. That's just a ton of dead money on the payroll and they really can't spend like crazy to compensate for that. Also, the farm system is awful. Is Domenic Brown the best player they have produced in the last 5 years, or so? That's really awful if it is the case. The writing was on the wall for a while with the Phils.

Yeah....it took 3 months to tell us Brady was "generally, probably aware". That's some great sleuth work right there. Very conclusive.
