No this time he let the league, opponent, and fans know at a proper time. He didn't wait until 90 minutes before game time to announce it but instead he announced it 6.5 hours before tip.

If Spurs make it to finals you can bet he won't make that same mistake....he showed how beatable the Heat were too.

In getting the younger/newer players to buy into it, without top 3 players, coming off the second of a back-to-back, will only propel to greater confidence and win-no-matter-the-odds mentality amongst team especially beating a solid team on the road.
