How many qbs have we gone through to replace him ? How many draft picks wasted To replace him ? How many one sided trades to replace him ?

as Cinderella so eloquently put it “ you don’t know what you got till it’s gone “

I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did.
Word. If a person likes Kirk Cousins the player and/or the person. They should be happy that he got out of Washington when the gettin was good. Had he stayed, I'd be far more surprised if he was still relatively healthy and playing. Than I would be if he was retired due to some type of negative issue. Or dealt away/left by now with a whole lotta bad blood between parties.

Yes he was . The one thing we are missing right now is solid qb play . We had the chance to lock him up at a reasonable price but he wasn’t sexy enough . That’s his crime
I don't think any QB of this era and in his prime could've done much for the Redskins. The aura, dark cloud, evil, whatever you wanna call it of Snyder. Combined with his ass backwards way of handling football personnel matters would be too much to overcome.

That’s not in him , this guy has entered the area of top 30 passers of all time . Not sure what you are talking about with personal matters if you are referring to KC

It really wasn't a great shock that Washington let KC go. What is a shame is I believe Kyle offered a 1st round pick for him but Dan didn't want to talk to Kyle.

I don't know how much more Washington would have won if he was still here. maybe a game or two a year. I said when he left "good luck replacing him." They still haven't. I would have loved to see what Kyle could have done with him.

I know no one thinks the Cards can run the table but a Pats win tonight makes the Cards a non-factor moving forward.

All I'm sayin is neither Kirk or Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers or any other QB you can think of would've changed the fortunes of the Washington Redskins with Snyder at the helm. And if you like Kirk, instead of bemoaning the fact that he's not here, be happy he got out when he did,

Well that’s kind of a cop out especially when the narrative was he wasn’t good enough

Fun fact as of today...

Cousins' career winning percentage is .526
Heinicke's is .534

(Cousins' winning percentage in Washington was .465)

Were there mitigating circumstances?

KC was here from 2012-2017. Washington was missing the following picks…

2012- no first or second round pick…RG3 doesn’t count.
2013- no first
2014- no first

That is a rather important fact, don’t you think?

falco has a mere portion of the starts KC has . the teams in DC werent that good and to be honest wins are a team stat not an individual one

you are late to this discussion by about 5yrs so you probably dont know the various stands we have had

Definitely late to the discussion (and don't much care about the history of it tbh); it's just amusing to see anybody pining over Kirk Cousins.

Heinicke isn't the answer either, but he's fun to root for in the short term.

Fair enough. Everybody wants a top-ten QB, but not everybody gets one.

(Coulda taken Herbert instead of Chase Young, though.)

not until he gets back on the field. no one is giving mis anything of value until they know what kind of player chase is post injury.
