Julio is a great fill in for now, but he needs to bat 3rd and come to the plate in the 1st inning with a chance to drive in a couple runs vs batting with the bases empty.

But right now we just do not have a competent #1 #2 anywhere on our roster.
In a perfect world Kelenic with his speed somehow unravels the mystery of MLB and or gets his head out of his ass and becomes a mainstay in our lineup in the 1-2 hole. Odds of that actually happening are very remote sadly.

I honestly do not think he ( JK ) is a Mariner 18 months from now.

And can run like the wind..
