yeah, Crime Dog was a great nameA-Rod, A-Gon, Car-Go, Tulo, Lo-Cain, Miggy, K-Fed, Joey Batts, The Todd Father, Esky, Steady Edi, and I personally call Wade Davis a Cyborg, James Shields called Davis a "Silent Assassin", Fred McGriff or "Crime Dog"
Some nicknames that I remember from the Phillies that never quite caught on because the players were not very good- The Blade, Randy Lerch and Jet (Steve Jeltz). Also Von "Five for One" Hayes

You don't like Von Hayes?
I always liked him (then again the teams he were on were so awful that he was one of the few guys that you could like). He seemed pretty mild mannered but he could beat the shit out of a water cooler after a strikeoutI don't know why either. Just hated him from the moment he came up with Cleveland.

I think this is my favorite memory of him. Also one of the funniest things I've ever seen.I remember when he was with the Nationals, him going after a pitcher and first baseman that were twice his size. That I suppose was the former Hockey player in him.
The F bombs he dropped on live TV were pretty good too.
Was quite a character.Pork Chop Pough
Wonderful Terrific Monds III
Super Joe Charboneau
Was quite a character.
I met him at a party in 1979, and he was opening beer bottles with his teeth.
He was out of MLB by around 1982.
