Did anyone notice a difference in the play calling with Bill calling plays. The two major things I notice was a little no huddle and we were more committed to the run, but we still clearly remain a pass 1st team/unbalanced. With Dunbar now healthy do we see more screens to try and offset blitzes.

I think you have to get into a few weeks of the season to determine an identity.
I liked the fact murray had the second most touches in the league last week. I think if Dallas can get to a 60/40 split, mission accomplished.

If Murray is carrying the ball 20-25+ times per game we're winning the game. He is that good. Assuming he stays healthy he keeps defenses honest and that's when our receiving weapons just kill teams.

I do like that every other run play isn't a draw.

That is wonderful to see. I wouldn't mind if that little delay draw only shows itself 5 times all year but I have a feeling certain games we might see it 5 times. One can hope

I liked the no huddle but with time I hope they can run it a bit faster. The pace was so slow that they were still snapping the ball at the end of the 35 second clock. Makes it a lot less effective.

After one game that finished in the 30's for both teams, I think it's tough to say what we will see from a play calling point of view. Murray had a ton of touches, but we threw almost 70% of the time. Not sure what that means as far as a change from prior years.

The short passes are like runs romo was like 26-29 to miles, Witten, and Dez I think not bad. I wanted to see a few screens in there and also more runs in the third quarter when we were up by 17 even though the line was stacked. However only reason Romo's attempts looked so high is due to the underneath passing he was doing. It'll get better.

Murray had the 2nd most amount of touches for a RB last week. We will still be a passing team, but as long as we are running enough to keep them honest is what is important. If we continue 20+ rushes a game that is a huge improvement from the past. If we dominate the time of possession that is just more plays & we will have more pass attempts. But again Murray had the 2nd most touches last week.

It's just one game but I see we still have Redzone issues. I do like the fact that we ran as much as we did. In years past we would have forgotten we are allowed to hand the ball to the RB.

THe large amount of short passes may be because they are treating Miles with kids gloves due to his quads and that Dez was covered by three defenders all night. Let's see if KC thinks they can cover him honestly.

The giants played soft under, and played man cover 2 under most of the game on 2&3 downs meaning they had two safeties over top not giving up the long play. One safety was strictly to shadow Dez the other had to make the best read which is the reason why Witten ate a lot over the middle deep. Doubt many play us that way, KC won't they trust their pass rush and corners to much. Although Dez will still see some doubles.
