These "movie franchises" have made the film business repetitious and boring. My daughter is almost 33, but the Star Wars movies they're making now stem from a movie made 13 years before she was born. Everything is just effects and costumes.

I will wait to see how it is received. The first and 3rd movies were good. The second one sucked. Someone has already pointed out the third one pretty much tied up all the loose ends. I could be wrong but it seems like this one should have come before the third one.

Not nearly as bad as the ones that followed the first 3 in the 70s. The last of which ended the series for like 25 years until we got to hear Marky Mark utter his famous line "How did these monkeys get like this". Classic.

Rise was a nice comeback though.
